This was the final project for my Digital Prepress Production class at SUNY Cobleskill. Throughout the semester, we had to answer questions about the prepress process for homework, and our answers would be the text content of the book.
I chose to make the theme of my book Memphis, as I had barely any experience working in that style, and quickly found a groove with shapes and color, and each chapter has a specific set of colors (as shown in the cover spreads).
After finishing the file digitally, the final step was to physically produce the guide. I used the "Print Booklet" option in InDesign, then printed each spread on a Tabloid Oversized sheet, then cut the pages using a paper guillotine. After getting the spreads cut to size, they were folded individually, then the page order organized. The final step was to bind it, by using a book stapler.
